The Clay Madsen Foundation, a Round Rock-based charity that provides support and resources to local families with a child battling cancer, honored its grant recipients and thanked major sponsors at a meet-and-greet in September.

The foundation distributed $41,000 in grants in the past year. The Clay Madsen Foundation was created in honor of Round Rock resident Clay Madsen, who passed away from cancer in 1992 at the age of 19.
