Keep Austin Beautiful is seeking volunteers for its community cleanup programs held Saturday, Feb. 13, at a variety of Austin-area locations.
Its biggest event is a shoreline cleanup of Lady Bird Lake. Other events include a cleanup of Boggy Creek and a restoration of Walnut Creek.
For all the events, Keep Austin Beautiful provides supplies and collects the trash. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty or wet. Please bring and wear sun protection. Be sure to bring a full reusable water bottle and stay hydrated. These events are open to all ages with adult supervision.
